Tragedy: a story where...
the lesson comes too late...
And in other news, I'll see my sister tonight!
And in still other news, we are going "downey-ocean" which it Baltimoronic for "to the beach." Just for a day, but YIP!
And also, I think I figured out something.

Did you know it is a small worl afterall? Yes--I ran into Carol Merriman at the Wesleyean Writers Conference in CT in June. We became quick friends because she is truly a NICE person. Anyway, she pulled out of her bookbag a copy of your chapbook and I said I know a Laurel Snyder--LO AND BEHOLD--it was you. she loaned me a copy and now I need to buy my own. It was complex stuff and I wanted to read it again using my right brain (started with left and did a bit of crossover). I'd like to stay in touch--my e-mail is janeh@jpusa.org. ALSO if you are in Chicago let's get together. Have you tried hooking up with Women & Children First for a reading? Also the Guild Compex is very active here in Chicago.
Let me know what's going on--though I can sort of tell by 1. baby and 2. new book and 3. hardwood floors.
I shall hunt the swarthy, Irish "potato-ape" if it chances to offend the sensibilities of the pure-blooded Jew!!!
Enjoy Baltimore. Have some Natty Bo for me.
