I know this may not be what you have in mind, but I'd love to have you read at the Community High school where I teach (only 500 students - Charles E. Smith JDS).
Hey Laurel! Would love to have you come stay with us and read in Michigan! Maybe we can set something up for next fall...? Will you be at AWP? Between all the college/university towns here, seems like we could get you booked around.
ryan's been taking poetry classes here, and maybe we could set up a reading at cornell (and then one at the bookery where your friend josh is). i'd love love love to see you. i owe you letters, presents, and phone calls. need to get my head outta my ass.
