Announcing the newest site from JewishyIrishy Industries, DIVREI!!!
DIVREI is a site for interfaith thinkers, a Torah site, where I'll be posting a dvar torah (sermon on the weekly Torah portion) each week. With a reading, an understanding of the bible which is of particular interest to those from interfaith homes, or those interested in the shaping of interfaith homes, or those in interfaith marriages... or anyone who just likes me and wants to know what I think.

So many of my students come from inter-faith homes; this is something I will be using on a regular basis. I just checked it out, and your insights on this week's parasha vis-a-vis the jewishyirisy perspective is sharp. Not that you need it, but feel free to use me as a resource anytime, since I technically am a "biblical scholar" (chuckle). When you get to Shmot, Moshe's development from both sides of the coin is a really powerful paradigm, particularly when the text is read very closely.
