Okay... so there's this new online poetry mag called VS. And the premise is that we'll all do poetical battle via the site, but so far, aint much of nobody kicking much of anybody's ass. So let's get a move on.

And I willingly offer myself up for a pummeling. Bring on the challenge, and I promise to fight back. I'll even give you a few clues to what makes me suck:
I like to use the word "retarded" in conversations.
I live in a red state.
Despite being Jewish, I love sacred Catholic art.

Why don't you and I both take a swing at Carl Patton, the pres. of GSU who makes $750,000 a year? He's something like the 5th highest-paid univ. pres. in the public system, even above UGA (with its revenue-inducing football team). And they've been doing layoffs like crazy, closed the theatre dept. recently.
