Just had lunch...

With Lee Klein and Thisbe...



I had chili and a grilled cheese on soundough. Then we shared pie. Rhubarb and apple. Two pieces three ways.

Our lunch reminded me about how GREAT it is to know fun smart writer-types... I think it's the best part of being a writer!

I feel the need to mention Lee, and to welcome him to Iowa. He'll be starting in the dorkshop this, and I can only hope that his silliness on EYESHOT has prepared him for this particular flavor of Iowa sillness.
